Dylan Bell
Short like Prince and sweet like Paul Simon, Juno-nominated Dylan Bell sings bass, tenor, alto, and vocal percussion. He secretly dreams of being Stewart Copeland… or Ferris Beuller.
Dylan is a mainstay on the Canadian music scene, having sung with vocal ensembles Cadence, Hampton Avenue, and the Nathaniel Dett Chorale. He also freelances as a keyboard player and bassist, working with artists such as classical violinist Lara St. John, world-music ensemble Autorickshaw, the eclectic FreePlay Duo, and veteran rockers Honeymoon Suite.
Behind the mixing board, Dylan has produced or engineered several award-winning albums, including a Juno co-nomination for the Cadence album Twenty For One, and an upcoming album with the world-renowned Swingle Singers.
Dylan's compositions have garnered international recognition, as winner of the John Lennon International Songwriting Competition, and a Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award. His vocal arrangements are sung worldwide from Arnprior to Zurich.
